Welcome to the Town of Cudworth website.

Our spirited community continues to grow and prosper. Our population is increasing, new houses are being built and new businesses are locating in our thriving town.

Our town council and community leaders work hard to sustain and develop our caring community. We have an on-going strategic planning process that provides the framework for the continued growth of our town.

We have renovated and upgraded all our public facilities including the installation of high efficiency heating systems and metal siding. Our main street and connecting avenues have been repaved and a new reconstructed paved access road from highway #2 into our town has been completed. Other infrastructure investments include a new lagoon system and lift stations, upgraded water plant, new standby natural gas powered generators, new playground equipment, new zamboni for our arena, renovated swimming pool, renovation of the library and Town Hall will be completed in 2017.

We look forward to the continued growth and development of our Cudworth Community. We are focused on managing our assests by developing a twenty year strategic plan for maintenance and upgrading of our infrastructure. A continued focus on developing regional working partnerships for economic growth and provision of health and recreational services, will ensure that we remain a progressive, sustainable community.

Come and experience the spirit of Cudworth. We are an energized community; a safe and caring community; a community where people work closely together to create and share a positive progressive lifestyle. It is a great place to raise your family and enjoy your retirement years. We are proud of our town. We want to share our good times with you.

COVID-19

In light of the current situation with COVID-19 virus, the Town of Cudworth would like to note the following changes:

The office is now open once again. We are allowing one person at a time. Please do not visit the office if you are feeling unwell.

These are stressful, uncertain times.  thank you to everyone for your commitment to our community and for your cooperation in following guidelines as established by the Province of Saskatchewan.  Stay healthy and take care of each other.

The Cudworth Community Health Council has provided us with some helpful information and we share this with you:

Information is changing daily so we encourage you to check on Saskatchewan Government website for updated Public Health information including self assessment for COVID-19 or calling the Provincial Health line at 811.  The address to the site is in the text below:

1.  Public Health Measures
There is a lot of confusion and anxiety in our communities right now.  Please ensure your friends, families, community members and leaders are supporting each other and staying informed about the rapidly changing nature of the situation.

Information for Saskatchewan residents is available at: Saskatchewan.ca/COVID19.  Please check back frequently for updates as the situation evolves.

Follow the orders and direction provided by the provincial Chief Medical Health Officer.  Ask your local Medical Health Officer for guidance on community and business related decisions if you require that.  We are here to help.

2.  Prevent Community Transmission
If you feel ill – please stay home.  Even people who show only mild symptoms may pass the virus to many, many others, particularly in the early course of the infection, before they even realize they are sick.
If you feel well, social distancing will help limit the spread of the virus in the community.

If you have been advised to self-monitor or self-isolate, follow the orders and advice provided by public health officials.
